Gang Tang

I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Birmingham, working with Christophe Petit. Previously, I did my PhD in the Centre for Quantum Software and Information, University of Technology Sydney, supervised by Youming Qiao and Mingsheng Ying.

My research interests lie in cryptography, with a particular focus on cryptanalysis and the design of post-quantum protocol. I also have a broad interest in theoretical computer science.

I am one of the authors of ALTEQ, a post-quantum signature scheme that is a candidate in round 1 of the NIST call for additional digital signatures .
